5 Week Course - Wheel Throwing Tuesday 29th April 1 - 3-30 pm
This course concludes on the 27th May.
This is an introductory class for people who have not used the pottery wheel before and those who have completed a wheel throwing course previously.
Students will learn to center clay on the wheel, basic throwing techniques, turning and finishing wheel-thrown pots, and glazing.
For students who have completed the beginner course previoulsy we will be working on expanding and building on your previous skills.
This class will run for 5 consecutive Tuesday afternoons. 2.5 hours each class.
What you will need:
Hand towel.
Enclosed shoes without heels.
Clothes that are comfortable and ok to get clay on.
Please tie any long hair back.
If you have your own tools you can bring them along, but there will be tools provided.
The course costs include clay, glazing, and firing.

Classes are held on Tuesday afternoon 1 pm to 3.30 pm at Earth and Fire Studio 31 Gidley Street Molong.
Please arrive on time.
Using the pottery wheel involves bending over the pottery wheel so people with back issues are encouraged to participate in handbuilding pottery as using the wheel may agrevate back conditions.
Places are secured after full payment before the classes start.
The total price includes a $150 deposit.
Cancelations with a full refund are only accepted 2 weeks before classes start.
Any cancelations after that time will be refunded minus the $150 deposit
No refunds or extra lessons will be given for missed classes.
