NOTE: This is a self guided class for people who have completed 2 x 5 week courses or 2x 5 class pass previously or can demonstrate intermediate or advanced skill. There will be a break of 1 week then the second block will start on the 30th September to the 28th October.
This course will start on Wednesday the 19th August 6 pm to 8 pm
and runs for 2 x 5 consecutive Sunday classes.
Students can do wheel throwing or handbuilding.
For participants 16 years and above.
Students will learn to make work at their own level and pace. 1 core class with a teacher each week and free studio time to practice on other days. Free studio time will be Fridays 10-4, Saturday and Sundays 10 - 1.
Students will be given 1 free bag of clay each term then students will need to buy their own clay. Recycled clay can be used to practice throwing but must be returned to the recycle and will not fired. Students are welcome to recycle their own bags of clay.
First 3 kgs can be fired free of charge after that fired pieces using studio glazes will be charged at $15 per kilo for the completed glazed piece.
Where possible students can transfer thier weekly class to another class within the same week if they are unable to attend their core class if availability permits.
The term price includes $70 GST
 
What you will need:
Hand towel.
Enclosed shoes without heels.
Clothes that are comfortable and ok to get clay on.
Please tie any long hair back.
If you have your own tools you can bring them along, but there will be tools provided.
