Come and explore the skill of wheel thrown pottery in this 5 day workshop.

For participants 16 years and above.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This workshop is for students of all skill levels. Beginners can learn the whole process of creating wheelthrown pottery. Experienced potters can learn new skills or concentrate on a particular skill you would like to focus on.
It is designed to walk you through all aspects of wheel throwing, from making the pot on the wheel to trimming, handles and decorating using slip and scraffito, in real time.
This workshop is the full experience, learning to work with the clay at the right time is very important to be able to apply additions such as handles and decoration. In this course you will be in full control of the whole process.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
Costs include clay, glazing and firing.
Coffee and tea will be provided. Lunch each day can be brought with you or purchased at the Katie's Cafe next door or Lime and Stone Cafe in Molong. We also have an IGA for any other purchases.
ACCOMODATION
If you are travelling, group attendees can stay at the beautifully appointed Sona which is right next door https://www.sona-molong.com.au, Tilbrook Coach House, Molong Motor Inn, The Telegraph Hotel, Molong House with a View or other BnB accomodations around Molong.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring along a hand towel.
Please wear comfortable clothes that are ok to get clay on.
Please wear enclosed shoes and tie long hair back.
Bring your own tools if you like.

Places are secured after full payment before the classes start.
The total price includes a $150 deposit.
Cancelations with a full refund are only accepted 2 weeks before classes start.
Any cancelations after that time will be refunded minus the $150 deposit. No refund will be given if the participant does not attend or cancels on the day.
