This course will start on Tuesday the 18th August 6 pm to 8 pm and runs for 5 consecutive Tuesday classes, with the last class on the 15th September 2026.
 
For participants 16 years and above.
This is an introductory class for people who have not used the pottery wheel before and those who have completed a wheel throwing course previously.
Students will learn to center clay on the wheel, basic throwing techniques, turning and finishing wheel-thrown pots, and glazing.
Students who have completed a 5 week course previoulsy we will be working on expanding and building on your previous skills.
This class will run for 5 consecutive Tuesday Nights. 2 hours each class.
 
What you will need:
Hand towel.
Enclosed shoes without heels.
Clothes that are comfortable and ok to get clay on.
Please tie any long hair back.
If you have your own tools you can bring them along, but there will be tools provided.
 
The course costs include clay, glazing, and firing.
